What we do
Our research, translation and training agendas are organised on a sub-regional basis across 3 regions: the Pacific, South East Asia and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in remote regions of Australia. We develop innovative methods to close evidence gaps under 4 closely-linked research themes:
- epidemiological mapping of NTDs based on start-of-the-art techniques;
- new and strengthened interventions for controlling NTDs;
- social science and health systems research to discover enablers and barriers to effective programs; and
- mathematical modelling and health economic analysis to project program outcomes and their financial requirements.
