Dr Johanna Kurscheid is an infectious disease epidemiologist in the area of neglected tropical diseases, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), health education and health promotion in resource poor-settings. She is a visiting Fellow at the Department of Global Health, ANU and is currently based at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute where she is principal investigator on a study assessing the operational and technical aspects of paediatric drug dosing and administration in sub-Saharan Africa in the context of prazquantel treatment for schistosomiasis in pre-school aged children.
