Ms. Mary Lorraine Mationg is a PhD candidate at the Department of Global Health, Research School of Population Health of The Australian National University. She completed her MSc in Epidemiology at the University of the Philippines Manila. Her current research focuses on a cluster randomised controlled trial of a health education package, “The Magic Glasses Philippines” for the prevention of intestinal worm infections in schoolchildren in Laguna Province. Prior to commencing her PhD, she holds a supervising science research specialist position at the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) of the Department of Health in the Philippines. She has a track record in epidemiology, biostatistics, infectious diseases and neglected tropical diseases.
